The
hidden hot spring
Last year my friend and i wanted to go to new hot
spring in angseri village. I heard from my aunty that there was a new natural
hot spring in Tabanan regency. We went there by motor cycle at 08.00 in the
morning, we were so excited because we like adventure to find new places. After
preparing everything we started our adventure started. On the way to the
location we sae very beautiful panorama like mountain, rice field and local
people working in their land. It’s rare thing that we could find. Sometimes we
asked local people about the distance and they said that it was not too far
from here. They asked us to go to the north until we reached Pacung village,
then turning to the left and just following
the road until we got to Angseri.
I’ve never been
there,We headed to the intersection in Pacung, where a road sign indicated that
the hot spring was 10 kilometers away. We savored the fresh air as we enjoyed
views of green hills, temples, and smiling villagers along the sometimes rocky
road. We followed several more signs until we finally found an entrance to the
hot springs, where we paid Rp 3,000 (30 cents) per person, plus Rp 2,000 to
park our two motorcycles. Then we climbed a short distance up stone steps that
led to a spread of green vistas then descended to a small complex of pools and
six bamboo cabins.
Each cabin contained a stone bathtub, large enough to
seat five people. A black-and-white checkered cloth covering the lower part of
the bamboo walls allowed some privacy to soak in the invigorating, clear water
that was hot enough to render my friend’s skin as red as a boiled prawn. A
small drain at the bottom of the tub allowed the circulation of water, which
ran off into small creeks surrounding the compound. Each cabin can be rented
for 10k for 30 minutes by paying the site supervisor, who is always
around

Near the
main pool there is a small fresh water fall. You can imagene how nice this
place to bathing while enjoying the the fresh air. After we bathed in private
cabin we tried in the main pool. A trace of sulfur makes the water in these
pools, which are both much larger than the tubs in the cabins, greenish and somewhat
unpleasant to look at. We bathed in the pool just 20 minute because 30 minute
in private cabin and many people bathing in one pool. They were so enjoyed their
time there, and the staff always cared with the safety of good of visitors and
remembering our time limit to bathing friendly.

Fresh water
showers are available on site for washing. There are also toilets, changing rooms and a cafeteria. After
we changed clothes we got lunch in cafeteria, it sold tradisional food, like lontong, rujak,
and other foods. My friend and I ordered a spicy noodle, we ate it with hot tea
while seeing rice terrace view. We felt in paradise, after that we took photo
around, not felt we spended my time there. I wanted continue my adventure but
we were so tired and decided to go back home. Sometime I want go back here with
many friends because all of people should know this place. It can surprise to
them.
