pepes telengis




PEPES TELENGIS RECIPE


Telengis pepes is one of  culinary from Bali especially from east of Bali, karangasem regency. When the independent war local people like that because there is no much food was that time.
·         INGREDIENT :
1/2 kg Telengis (
the dregs of oil refining)
5 stick bongkot
1 ounce  tuna fish
1 ounce palm sugar

Flavor (mashed) :
a. 6 cloves of onion
b. 5 cm ginger
c. 15 red paper
d. 1 salt  to tasted
e. 1/2
shrimp paste

making way :

1. Smoothes all flavor, then separated it
2.peel the bongkot, take white part inside , next choop it until smooth
3 press tuna fish
 4. All of inggredition and flavor are mixed until good after that add with palm sugar.
5.wrap with banana leaf. 
6. Roasted in ember 
7. After finish serve with rice when warm.
